Turkey Lettuce Wraps with Cilantro Lime Crema

  • 1.25 LBS Ground Turkey
  • 1 TBS Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Diced Red Onion
  • 1.5 TBS Cumin
  • 2 Tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5 Tsp Chili Powder
  • 0.5 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 0.5 Tsp Salt
  • 0.25 Tsp Pepper
  1. In a food processor blend garlic, greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, 0.5 Tsp cumin.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside
  3. Heat a medium saute pan on medium/high heat
  4. Add olive oil and red onion. Saute until translucent, about 3-4 minutes
  5. Add in garlic and saute for 30 seconds
  6. Add lean ground turkey, cook until no longer pink, about 7-8 minutes
  7. Add in 1.5 TBS cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, ground cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Stir until all spices are combined
  8. Serve turkey mixture on butter lettuce. Top with avocado, cherry tomatoes, fresh cilantro, and cilantro lime crema
