Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival
One of Tacoma’s best summer events is back! The Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival returns June 6–7 at Point Defiance Park and it’s easily one of the most beautiful weekends of the year in Tacoma.
This free, family-friendly event features stunning flower displays, local garden vendors, food trucks, live music, workshops, and activities for kids throughout the weekend. It’s the kind of event where you can spend a few hours casually walking through the gardens, getting inspiration for your own home landscaping, and just enjoying the outdoors.
What makes this event so special is the setting itself. Between the waterfront views, towering old-growth trees, colorful blooms, and walking trails throughout Point Defiance, Tacoma really shows off during this weekend. It’s also a great example of how connected Tacoma is to nature even while still feeling like a city.
